Dance like a yogi this Saturday

Get Your Dance OnIn case you haven’t heard, yoga studios are the new night clubs.

And the traveling yoga-dance-party that spurred the phenomenon is hosting a night of rockin’ Vinyasa and booty-shaking this weekend in a brand-new location.

Get Your Dance On will debut at Yoga Vida’s spacious new digs in Noho on Saturday, with 75 minutes of yoga.

The class will feature live percussion and will be taught by Aarona Pichinson and another music-loving yogi, Laughing Lotus’ Dana Flynn.

After class, DJs will turn up the volume as yogis hit the dance floor. Fuel (and hydration) will be provided in the form of kombucha, coconut water, and raw chocolate.

“Come for the yoga,” says GYDO founder Natasha Blank. “Stay for the beats, the community, and the super sweaty dance floor.”

Get Your Dance On, Saturday, November 19th, 7:30 p.m., Yoga Vida, 666 Broadway (at Bond Street), Noho, $18—35, For tickets, click here.
