Dr. Frank Lipman hosts a series of wellness dialogues at Urban Zen


New York integrative physician Frank Lipman Nobody knows wellness like Dr. Frank Lipman, the integrative physician of choice in New York’s celebrity circles. Now, Dr. Lipman has decided to share his knowledge, health-care philosophies (and connections) with the city through a series of “intimate dialogues exploring the extraordinary healing power available to us in our everyday lives.”

The series, called “Conversations on Sustainable Wellness with Dr. Frank Lipman,” will take place at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Center.

Dr. Lipman’s invited big names from an array of fields, from Kris Carr, author of Times best-seller Crazy Sexy Diet, to media maven Arianna Huffington. The first installment takes place this Sunday, March 6 and features a conversation with the country’s front-runners of functional medicine—Jeff Bland, PhD, Bob Roundtree, MD, and Mark Hyman, MD.

Functional medicine is a clinically effective “operating system” designed to deal with the current epidemics of chronic diseases that Western Medicine manages poorly and rarely heals, says Dr. Lipman.

Look for an intelligent mashup of guests for future conversations. They may include a hip-hop mogul and a wellness-conscious celeb or two…
