holly-rilinger-2Welcome to Wellness Confidential, our quick-fire interview series where we ask hard-hitting (okay, entertaining) wellness questions, lightning round-style.

Up next is Nike and Flywheel trainer Holly Rilinger, who's about to become a household name thanks to her role on Bravo's new reality TV show Work Out New York—but don't let the onscreen drama fool you; she is, in her own words, a professional "spreader of joy."

First thing I did when I woke up this morning: Meditated... and then drank a double espresso.

Last thing I did before I went to sleep last night: Watched an episode of Narcos.

The one place I’d never wear yoga pants: Oh god. There isn't a place. I have no shame.

Workout I’m currently obsessed with: Boxing.

The one wellness trend you'll never see me try: A juice cleanse.

If sugar was a superfood, my diet would consist of: Cupcakes! With lots of pink frosting. Like, lots.

The last time I used my oven: Yikes. Maybe a year ago? I never use it in the city. (But I actually baked an apple crisp in Sag Harbor recently. I suddenly become domestic out there.)

I never make a smoothie without adding: Collagen protein. It's amazing for your skin. It's why I look 12.... Fine, 30?

If I were a fruit or vegetable, I’d be: An avocado. Fat in all the right places.

I firmly believe that a woman can never have too many: Golden Goose high tops.

The one song that I’ve been playing on repeat: Something by Justin Bieber, sorry (gulp).

The one beauty product that I’m always replenishing: Bliss Ex-'Glow'-sion! It's the best facial moisturizer.

My go-to spot for date night with my BF/GF/BFFs: Prune.

Where I go when I need to be alone: My house in Sag Harbor.

Most people probably don’t know this about me, but: Most days I don't make my bed.

My most memorable sweaty moment: Leading a Nike NTC workout in Moscow in front of thousands of amazing young girls.

One way I’ve given back that I’m proud of is:  I created a PE program for a girls school in The Congo a few years ago.

My mantra of the moment: A tiger doesn't lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.

Who else has dished on her wellness habits? Drybar founder Allie Webb tells all (think the best exfoliator and the Pilates workout that will really have you feeling the burn).
