So, there's a new moon happening this week (Wednesday, to be exact). To get you ready, rockstar astrologer Jennifer Racioppi has day-by-day insights on the cosmic conditions affecting everyone, no matter what your sun sign is. Below is her best advice for making the most of the next few days, via your daily food, fitness, and self-care habits.

Monday, June 11

The week begins with the Taurus moon waning dark. Dark moons happen in the days right before a new moon. They present the opportunity to feel into that which no longer works and release stuck patterns or old energy. However, dark moons come with a warning, too, as they can often feel noir, especially in an overscheduled, stressed out world! The best thing to do at a dark moon is to give yourself space and get some deep rest. How can you create more you time today? What can you say no to? What can you release?

Mercury exits Gemini and enters into Cancer, amplifying the powers of sensitivity and psychic potential too. While this shift presents in very subtle, almost unidentifiable ways at first, now’s the time to acknowledge the planet of communication’s ingress into the sign of the crab. Since Mercury in Cancer may amplify sensitivity over the next couple of weeks, let’s remember the genius of Don Miguel Ruiz’s book The Four Agreements: Be impeccable with your word. don’t take anything personally, don’t make assumptions, and always do your best.

Wednesday, June 13

The Gemini new moon at 22 degrees happens at 3:43 p.m. Eastern. The ruler of the new moon, Mercury, forms a perfect sextile to Uranus, the planet of breakthrough. This cosmic connection amplifies original thinking. Simultaneously, Mercury makes a sharp angle to Chiron, the wounded healer, inviting you to tend to your emotions and honor them. With Venus, the planet of love and beauty, exiting cancer today entering into Leo, she squares Uranus, too. Today is not the day to be reactionary. Witness what’s unfolding and take a step back. Observe. Don’t react. Then set intentions! What's your definition of success? What do you want to manifest now? Write it out. Words have power.

Thursday, June 14

Rebel vibes are active today. With Venus in Leo making a perfect square to Uranus in Taurus, you want what you what when you want it. I get it. However, with the moon waxing crescent in Cancer, stay committed to the outcome you genuinely desire, not the whims of your trigger. Lead with your truth. Warning: This may require a wee-bit of impulse control. (But it’s worth it.) From a fitness perspective, prioritize exercise that lets you process your emotions. Think a spin class with a teacher who plays your favorite music, or yoga practice with someone whose dharma talk moves your soul.

Friday, June 15

Mercury in Cancer opposes Saturn in Capricorn, offering hard truths. Embrace radical honesty as a healing path (even if it’s hard to hear). Remember, being a leader isn’t always about being liked, it’s about being in service! Stay in integrity. Simultaneously Venus sends a loving trine to Chiron in Aries. Thank goodness. This fire trine between the planet of love and the asteroid of healing helps to lift the vibes. It’s a mixed bag sort of day. Lean into grit and determination.

Saturday, June 16

The waxing crescent moon moves through the vibrant sign of Leo today, potentially uplifting the mood and the vibe today. Prioritize pleasure and fun. Think upbeat music, a long cathartic run, and a delicious meal. Ignite your mojo and momentum by staying focused on your intended outcomes. Lead with fun and play.

Happy Father's Day. I know relationships with dads can be a complicated topic. However, no matter where you fall on the spectrum of how you feel about your father, whether he's your hero or villain, honor your journey. After all, you’ve survived and thrived. Acknowledge your growth and the experiences that made it possible. And if you need to shed a few tears and release some anger, too, have at it. It's a good time to take care of you. If you aren't partaking in Father's Day celebrations, it's not a bad evening for Netflix and chill!
