Our Yoga for Runners and Athletes series expands to a second JackRabbit location

Yoga helps runners stay injury-free

Attention Central Park runners: Well+Good’s popular yoga series, Yoga for Runners and Athletes, that we created with JackRabbit Sports and YogaWorks is expanding to a second location!

The free monthly in-store yoga class will now be offered at JackRabbit’s brand spanking new Upper West Side location, in addition to the 14th Street location.

JackRabbit’s 72nd Street location is a 30-second sprint from Central Park. The classes, which will take place at 10:00 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month, are timed to follow your morning run.

So Upper West Siders, picture this:
After your Saturday morning run in Central Park, show up at JackRabbit, find a yoga mat waiting for you, a locker to stash your stuff, and instructor Alie Carey ready to teach a 60-minute yoga class targeted to aligning a runner’s body. You’ll be done in time for brunch!

When: Saturday, June 11. And every second Saturday of the month. Class is 10:00–11:00 a.m. at the 72nd Street location and 8:30–9:30 a.m. at the 14th Street location. After the one-hour yoga practice, enjoy a 15 percent off discount at either store.
