CrossFit movers and shakers: A new Upper East Side Box, CrossFit Concrete Jungle, opened on July 11, and CrossFit Queens recently moved to a new, more central location on 31st Street in Astoria. On the Upper West Side, CrossFit NYC debuted a second location on Columbus Ave., which is in “soft opening” mode until a full opening set for Labor Day.

A new hot yoga studio, Y7, opens in Williamsburg this Saturday, July 13. The studio offers a new concept: Heated vinyasa in a dark room, with loud beats. (More on that later.)

Pure Yoga announced it will be offering a la carte classes for non-members this summer. Classes are $30 and can be purchased at the front desk at either studio location.

Exhale is launching a barre teacher training program that will train instructors to teach the workout anywhere. Until now, in the barre world, every studio has had its own, proprietary training method.

To meet demand, SoulCycle is opening a massive third Hamptons location, in Watermill, on July 16.

New York nutritionist Marissa Lippert will debut a healthy cafe, Nourish Kitchen and Table, in the West Village on July 15.

A new mobile juice and smoothie bar, Juice Baby, has parked near Hamptons fitness hotspots like SoulCycle and Physique 57, and allows class-goers to place orders before they start cycling and toning, so their juice is waiting for them once they’re sweaty.

Popular East Village cafe The Bean launched a fresh juice menu. The cafe, which has three locations, is known for its coffee and vegan treats.

The Upper West Side gourmet grocery Gastronomie 491 is now offering Victory Garden’s goat-milk soft serve ice cream, from the popular downtown eatery.
