I have a ritual of dumping my brain into a journal at night. All my fears/worries/stresses/rage/hurt goes into the book—and the most important thing is that I never read what I’ve written. That's really important. No one reads the rage journal. Ever. This helps me to wake up less anxious and more grateful that every day is a fresh start full of new opportunities.

I make sure my phone alarm is set to wake me up with something soothing. For a long time, it’s been singing bowls. The sound is deep, beautiful, mind-clearing, meditative, and slow.

I dry brush every morning with this great Mio dry brush—it's my favorite one because it's round, the wood is beautiful, and the bristles really get the circulation happening.

Post-shower, I have an intense skin oil ritual. A friend and client turned me on to Pratima and I am obsessed with her skin-care products. I use the Love and Vata oils from her line all over my body plus a nourishing one and this gorgeous turmeric cream for my face.

Before leaving the apartment, I add a cinnamon stick to my water bottle—incredible for calming the mind and de-bloating the digestive system!
