Russell Brand got up out of Lotus and led a walkout of his yoga class at LA’s Golden Bridge Yoga studio, according to Radar Online, after hearing that the studio wouldn’t let his favorite teacher, Tej Kaur Khalsa, out of her contract. Demi Moore was among the yogis who rolled up their mats and followed Brand in protest.
Bent on Learning hosted a celeb-filled fundraiser this week, including Donna Karan, Eddie Stern, Elena Brower. The non-profit teaches yoga to inner-city school children, from Brooklyn to the Bronx, giving each child a mat and an early start at the practice.
Hamptons green juice fave Juicy Naam shuttered its only New York City location inside the Hotel Wales. Owner Giuliana Torre says the spiritual cleanse company will open in a new “exciting location” in just a few short weeks. More details to come!
According to an unconfirmed report from In Touch In Touch, celeb yogi Hilaria Thomas may already be pregnant with Alec Baldwin’s baby. We knew the marriage would mark the end of her killer abs sequences.
And Thomas’ studio, Yoga Vida, announced new classes that will hit the schedule at both of its studios on February 4. The new options include early morning and early evening flow classes and a twice-a-week basics class.
