Win a Year of Yoga classes at Yoga Vida

This contest is now closed. Winner announced June 10, 2011!

Enter to win a year of yoga classes for you and a friend to celebrate the June 1 opening of Yoga Vida’s second New York City studio

Yoga Vida opens a second studio

You may have noticed that Yoga Vida, the popular—and super pretty—Union Square yoga studio has been kinda packed lately. That’s amazing for a location that has two studios, including one that can hold 65 people, and is just a little over a year old.

Not that founder Michael Patton should be surprised. The Wall Streeter-turned-yogi opened the window-filled studio just a stone’s throw from NYU (at University and 12th Street), which has 65-minute classes at just $10 a pop (students pay $5). How to meet demand? Open another studio!

On June 1, Yoga Vida’s second studio location will debut at 666 Broadway at Bond Street—also with 65-min. classes for $10/$5, plus a couple new 75-minute classes and 90-minute classes.

The new studio has two window-filled studios that can hold 65 yogis each, and a third smaller studio. All the better to host workshops with top NYC instructors—and the first Yoga Vida teacher training this fall. This time Patton’s planning ahead: “The number of shoe cubbies and coat hooks have quadrupled.”
