Move over chia pudding, smoothie bowls are officially the healthy food world’s new breakfast (and Instagram) star.

“I think of smoothie bowls as treats—but one that you can have every day,” says Lee Tilghman, the blogger behind Lee from America who blends ridiculously delish and gorgeous bowls like Blackberry Avocado Jam piled with coconut, edible flowers, and all kinds of seeds.

“The ingredient possibilities are endless, they’re super easy to make, and you’re able to pack in a ton of nutrients in one bowl,” Los Angeles-based Tilghman explains.

Thankfully, she’s one of a whole world of recipe developers whipping up amazing smoothie bowls.

These 35 smoothie bowl recipes— from a classic acai bowl to base of blended greens, with superfoods and protein-boosters—have the potential to change your mornings forever. Heck, you may never need a straw again. —Emily Karr and Lisa Elaine Held
