When it comes to hacking your cocktail order, Pamela Wiznitzer, one of America’s Top Female Mixologists, has a few tricks up her sleeve for keeping them on the healthy side. (You know, as far as getting a little lit goes.)

Her three healthy rules of thumb: Sub the sugar for a natural sweetener like honey or agave, add fruit, and ditch your usual sugar-rimmed flair for an inflammation-fighting pomegranate seed garnish. Here, she puts all her guidelines to good (delicious) use with this upgraded tequila cocktail.

“I centered this cocktail around mango, which is good for your gut,” she says, citing the fruit’s high-fiber makeup. And for an added bonus: the low-sugar content means your hangover won’t be as painful—which is definitely a good thing since this drink is so good, you’ll probably want a second.
