My Studio Style: Bree Branker, Flywheel instructor

As a star Flywheel instructor who teaches around 13 classes per week and a professional dancer with a gig on America’s Got Talent, Bree Branker is constantly in workout clothes, and has to change at least once a day.

“I’m sweating as much as you do in class, so my outfit definitely won’t last more than two workouts,” Branker says. “My challenge is also looking for multipurpose pieces I can teach in at Flywheel and then dance in afterwards. That usually means cropped tank tops with wide armholes and high-waisted pants.”

Branker gravitates toward black pieces that she can pair with a leather jacket and wedge sneakers, and likes to add a bright pop of color from the Flywheel apparel collection.

Here’s what she says she wears to feel cute “even when I’m soaked in sweat.” —Jamie McKillop

1. Onzie Elastic Bra ($42) This Onzie Elastic Bra is everything. I’m a tall girl that sweats very easily, so I enjoy the silhouette of running tights with a blousier-slash-baggier tank top. This bra is awesome because it’s no fuss—the party is in the back, and the criss-cross straps give me the support I need through every tap back.

2. Adidas by Stella McCartney Big Bag ($140) Like any active New Yorker knows, your bag has to have the capacity for an entire day’s activities. (For me, that can include an audition, my own workout, teaching a class, and going out afterwards.) This bag is chic and functional. The color also works for the majority of my wardrobe, so I don’t have to worry about pattern clashing.

3. Nike Women’s Dunk Sky Hi ($120) Since adding “fitness instructor” to my resume, I’ve noticed that you can have the best of both worlds—comfortable but still chic. These Nikes are my latest fave that fit that description. All black to match everything in my closet with just a touch of sass on the lift in the heel.
