My Workout Playlist: Flywheel’s Danielle Devine-Baum

Danielle Devine-Baum

Still running to songs of seasons past? We’re here to help! Each week, we share the tunes of popular fitness instructors who’ve got a serious knack for cranking out amazingly motivating music.

This week, we tapped Danielle Devine-Baum, the Flywheel master instructor based in New York City, who’s known for mixing modern, beat-driven remixes with rock-and-roll classics (hello, amped-up Mumford & Sons meets Springsteen!). “I like to make sure that each playlist includes songs that people can both relate and sing along to,” says the indoor cycling guru.

This particular W+G staffer has lost herself in a DDB class on more than one occasion. “When crafting a playlist, my goal is to not only push my riders to their limit physically, but to engage them emotionally as well.” And that she does. —Sarah Sarway
