A Bootcamp grows in Brooklyn

If you’re jonesing for a drill sergeant to get your butt out of bed and into shape but aren’t ready to commit to four weeks of grueling cardio and muscle-building, this “Fit & Fab” mini-bootcamp from My Healthy Sport NYC might just do the trick.

This Saturday, My Healthy Sport is partnering with Brooklyn Based to offer this hard-core 55-minute workout for $15 (normally $25) in Fort Greene Park.  They’ll be serving free, low-fat snacks to reward you for your hard work, and you’ll be entered to win a full, four-week bootcamp.

The class starts at 9:00 a.m. and will meet at the bottom of the stairs on the Myrtle Avenue side of the park.  Just look out for some fabulously fit Brooklynites.

After class, you can cool down with a short stroll over to the Brooklyn Flea, where you can grab a lobster roll from the Red Hook Lobster Pound and catch up with Taliah Lempert, the bicycle painter extraordinaire.
