Next summer, Anne Hathaway will grace the big screen in a skintight black jumpsuit as the latest reincarnation of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

“The catsuit is unforgiving,” she told Chelsea Handler in an interview on “Chelsea Lately” last week, adding that it takes a lot of motivation to get into it (and two wranglers). See the video clip, below.

Hathaway admitted she previously hated working out—mostly because it was really hard for the celeb to get past her “workout hump” to a place where she wasn’t so weak that every workout was painful.

But since she’s been training for the Catwoman role by hitting the gym and practicing Bikram, she’s started enjoy it. “I feel like, ‘Ugh! I’m that person.’ Like, I came to LA, got a bikini wax, went blonde, and looove working out,” she joked.

She also joked about her vegetarian diet: “Right now I’m eating kale and dust.”

The good news is that Hathaway looks great, has a sense of humor about the weight loss, and obviously has a healthy sense of balance.

When Handler asked her if she’s sticking to her diet without budging, Hathaway laughed. “You’ve got to have a little fun,” she said. “The Catwoman character is naughty, so if I was perfectly behaved, I wouldn’t be honoring her, right?”
