New York City cyclistas take note: the free (!) Bike Expo New York is approaching as quickly as a cycling courier headed down Sixth Avenue. And unlike a tourist opening their taxi door on the street side, you won’t want to miss it.
This year’s Expo takes place May 2 and 3 on Manhattan’s Pier 36, and is the Eataly for cycling enthusiasts.
There’s a must-see cycling apparel fashion show hosted by Momentum Magazine (on Saturday noon–1:00 p.m. and again at 3:00–4:00 p.m.).
A panel discussion we’re super into—”Women’s Biking in NYC: Your Questions Answered” with the phenomenally chic founder and cycling enthusiast Susi Wunsch of Velojoy.com and Liz Robert, the CEO of women’s bike, gear, and apparel company Terry Bicycles, and several others (Saturday 1:00—2:00 p.m.).
And of-the-moment cycling companies from hydration specialists to helmet purveyors, all of whom are obsessed with helping you fine-tune your time on two wheels.
And as the most-attended bike expo in the country, complimentary bike valet service will also be provided, so you don’t have to worry about your precious baby getting swiped while you browse the nearly 100 vendors that are sure to get your bell ringing.
