Americans spend $17 billion on bottled water, according to Water Bobble, the company that came up with this attractive solution to blowing through so much plastic: A reuseable water bottle with an activated-carbon filter built right in.
Poised to reform some of our potable-water problems (i.e., landfills), the Water Bobble is one of those smack-your-forehead innovations that makes you wonder how someone didn’t think of it sooner. Each one can be refilled 300 times before the filter gives out and they’re BP-free. Plus the bottle, or bobble, comes in all the colors of the rainbow. Well, a Mac laptop. So that should help sales, too.
