Models at the Spring 2015 Costello Tagliapietra show last week got a special treat. Instead of slathering their faces with makeup laced with harsh chemicals, Beauty.com partnered with natural skin-care and cosmetic brands Arcona and Jane Iredale—and makeup artist Tina Turnbow created a healthy, fresh-faced look using the products.

“Inspired by spring, the look exudes a feeling of beautiful, healthy, and effortless skin accompanied by doll-eyed ‘Twiggy-inspired’ lashes and rosy, romantic lips,” Turnbow explained.

Think (just did a barre class) dewy and ethereal.

Want to re-create the pretty, of-the-moment look? Jane Iredale shared Turbow’s step-by-step instructions on how to do it, below. —Lisa Elaine Held

Lips

In the center of the lips, lightly apply Lip Definer in Berry. Blend In Touch Cream Blush in Charisma into the lips with your fingers and blot with the Facial Blotting Papers to create a very matte lip. Applying the lip color first creates a barely there look and allows for the color to sink in throughout the application.

Face

First, apply Smooth Affair Primer & Brightener by hand to the face and eyes. The more hydrated the skin looks, the better.

Next, mix Smooth Affair with Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream to get a sheer application, and apply with fingers. The recommended ratio is about a dime size of Smooth Affair to the four dots of Glow Time.

Eyes

First, apply Active Light Under-Eye Concealer to the inside corner of the eye and the side of the bridge of the nose and sheer out with the Crease Brush. Also apply Active Light under the eyes to cancel out any dark circles or shadows.

With your finger, apply the clear gloss portion of Lip Fixation in Craving from the outside corner of the eye up to the brow bone to create a wet eye look.

For lashes, Turbow applied 3 coats of PureLash Extender and Conditioner, and waited for the layers to dry, then a coat of Longest Lash Thickening & Lengthening Mascara. Any mascara is fine!

Tip: Use mascara as an eyeliner for the lower lash line for more definition and smudge. The line should look messy and not a solid straight line.

Fill in brows in a straight line with Eye Pencil in Taupe to create a nice full brow. Set brows with PureBrow Brow Fix.

Cheeks

Mix a little of In Touch Cream Blush in Charisma and Clarity together, using more Clarity than Charisma for the cheeks. Sheer out the blush with your fingers to achieve a flushed look.
