Go to a yoga dance party this weekend

This Saturday, the yoga-dance-party scene kicks off its shoes for Get Your Dance On at YogaWorks Soho.

Yoga meets dance party at a previous Get Your Dance on event in NYC.

We told you about the emergence of late-night yoga dance parties last spring, and it seems like the booty shaking in yoga pants is only picking up steam.

This Saturday, the two biggest names on the scene will join forces, with Get Your Dance On hosting Yoga Soundscape (which is usually held at Kula Yoga Project) at YogaWorks Soho.

The yoga-dance combo led by Aarona Pichinson will kick off the night, followed by four hours of dancing to music spun by not one, but an entire line-up of DJs.

Sponsors include VitaCoco and Beyond Kombucha, so we’re guessing you’ll stay hydrated as you work up a sweat. You can also avail yourselves of the sweet spa-like showers and sauna at YogaWorks before you head home.

So instead of a Sunday morning headache, you’ll wake up feeling stretched and refreshed.

Get Your Dance On, Saturday, September 24th, 7:30p.m.—1:00a.m., YogaWorks Soho, 459 Broadway (at Grand Street), $35 ($18 for the dance party only). Purchase tickets here.
