We're nearly two years into the pandemic, and many have ditched their fun cloth masks for more effective, disposable paper masks. I for one was a huge fan of my collection of leopard print and tie-dye cloth masks, but I do love the ease of using disposable masks. But, while planning a recent trip to Las Vegas, I knew I wanted disposable masks for the convenience, but I wanted more variety other than the standard blue and white ones—I was looking for disposable masks that had some visual interest. A quick Amazon search led me to these sparkly beauties, and I've been wearing them ever since.

Glitter face masks make me so incredibly happy. I love that they add a little sparkle to any outfit. If you're going out on New Year's Eve, these are an absolute must-have. They're easier to breathe in than cloth masks, and I find they fit my face better than traditional surgical masks, which can be a teensy bit too big (for me, at least). I wore these all night long in clubs in Vegas and was perfectly comfortable the entire time. Are these masks as good as legit surgical masks at keeping out the virus that causes COVID-19? No clue. But, this mask did pass the candle test, something that Natasha Mubeen Chida, MD, assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine, says is a great way to test the efficacy of your mask in just one blow.

"One good test is if you're wearing your mask and you try to blow out a candle," says Dr. Chida. "If you cannot blow that candle out, your mask is doing a pretty good job of preventing air from your mouth from getting out."

These masks come in a bunch of different colors. Each 50-pack comes with 10 of five different masks, meaning you can pick one to match your mood or your outfit. The only downside of these masks is that they're not available on Prime. So, it takes a bit to get to you and you have to pay $13 for the masks plus an additional $5 for shipping. So if you think you'll love them, buy a few packs to save on the shipping fee. They're honestly so worth it, though. Shop the different options below.

Warm Tones — $18.00

This set comprises warm red, orange, and great neutrals like black, brown, and silver (I consider metallics to be neutrals and will not accept another definition).

Fun and Bright — $18.00

This is the set I bought for my Vegas trip. Pink is my favorite color, so I sported those the majority of the time.

Festive — $18.00

This is the perfect mask set for New Year’s Eve. You get gold, black, and silver—quintessential NYE colors—plus purple and blue if you want to switch things up.

Muted Tones +Lime Green — $18.00

If you want to keep your look more subdued, this set is great given that you’ll get silver, gold, black, and navy. The lime green is definitely a bit of a wild card, but I’m sure you’ll find the perfect time to wear it.
