We’re pretty big fans of cats and tea over here at Well+Good, so when we heard there was a cafe opening that combined our two passions (outside of indoor cycling and green juice), we knew we had to investigate.
KitTea is a new cat cafe set to open in San Francisco later this year. And despite what you might be picturing, it will not be a kooky spot with cats roaming freely around. KitTea plans to be an elegant Japanese tea house, where all of the cats you can sit and sip with are up for adoption, explain its visionaries.
Courtney Hatt and David Braginksy, former techies, are the founders of KitTea, and have set up a crowdfunding campaign to help realize their dream. Because really, this needs to open like right meow. —Jamie McKillop
