Harry Styles Is Narrating Your Next Meditation—So Prepare for a Watermelon Sugar Mindfulness High

On the long list of dulcet-toned folks I've long-wished would become meditation instructors, the one-and-only Harry Styles might just take the top spot. His last album, Fine Line, absolutely "slapped" (as the kids say) and I feel confident predicting that "Dream With Harry"—a 30-minute mindfulness collaboration with most downloaded meditation app—Calm will, too (most likely in a more gentle, centering kind of way).

Released on Wednesday, the sleep-geared guided meditation comes on the coattails of other celeb-led meditations taught by people like Laura Dern, Kelly Rowland, Matthew McConaughey, and Lucy Liu on the Calm app. “Sleep and meditation are a huge part of my routine, whether I’m at home, in the studio, or out on the road,” said Styles in a press release. “Rest and recovery is as important as doing the work. Finding a balance has been endlessly beneficial to both my physical and mental health. It’s changed my life. I’m so happy to be collaborating with Calm at a time when the world needs all the healing it can get. Treat people with kindness.” I don't know about you, but what makes me beautiful is a good night's sleep.

Calm, $70 annually after free trial

Calm co-founder and co-CEO Michael Acton Smith adds that Styles' fine-tuned (and, yes, British) vocal cords make him the perfect candidate for guiding any meditation‚ but particularly one designed to lull the listener into a dream state. "Harry’s voice usually electrifies audiences around the world but his unique Sleep Story will help millions of people drift off to dreamland every night,” said Smith. “His mellifluous voice is the perfect tonic to calm a racing mind."

You don't have to take his word for it, though: If you still have doubts (how?), you can download a free trial of the Calm app ($70 annually), slip into your PJs, crawl under the covers, and see how quickly you doze off. Style's debut album may have been called Up All Night, but he's certainly not above acknowledging that we all need our rest.
