Just because there’s less sunshine and the weather is colder, it doesn’t mean you (or your body) need to suffer. Instead, stoke the fire of your life. Think of about trying out kundalini yoga or pranayama practice (AKA Ayurvedic breathwork) like kapalabhati—which is an advanced yogic breathing technique that is said to purify and rejuvenate the mind and body—as a way to uplift your energy and increase your natural strength. Maybe even consider doing a light morning fast, and increase the intake of alkalizing foods like lemon, ginger, and apple cider vinegar. (You’ll be glad you did come Thanksgiving!)
