With its brand-new East Village outpost, popular pie-maker L’Asso is reinforcing that its carbo-cheeserific, wood-burn-oven-fired pizzas can be crafted with the healthiest, organic ingredients.
Witness the Bufalina D.O.C. (tomato sauce, fresh tomato, uncooked buffalo mozzarella, oregano, basil, extra virgin olive oil), which relies only on organic flour and is finished with organic sauce.
And a new addition: For $3.50, your pizza can now flaunt a hemp flour crust, a perfect anchor to The Hempshroom, a melange of mushrooms, mozzarella, sauteed onions, fresh parsley, and, of course hemp seeds and hemp oil.
