Meet the adorable winner of Athleta’s Healthiest Year Ever

Let us introduce you to the winner of $500 to Athleta, a Peloton bike, and Vitamix blender from Athleta's Healthiest Year Ever sweepstakes! (Be happy for her!)

Athleta Healthiest Year Ever

We couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to the winner of our Healthiest Year Ever giveaway presented by Athleta, which gifted a $500 Athleta gift card, a Peloton indoor cycling bike, and a Vitamix blender at random to one lucky Well+Good reader who entered.

And the winner… is 24-year-old Danielle Huntsman, a personal chef and health coach who’s currently working towards her master’s degree in nutrition science from Maryland University of Integrative Health.

But the avid cyclist, runner, equestrian, and yogi isn’t hoarding the prizes all to herself. “First thing I will do with the Athleta gift card is buy my classmate, Bonnie, a gift—she was the one who introduced me to the brand,” Huntsman says. Then she’ll pick up some pieces for herself. “Having workout clothes that fit well are important and the fun designs created by Athleta are an added bonus,” she says. “I’ll take advantage of their tall sizes. I’m six feet tall and their extended inseams are amazing.”

The other gifts aren’t going to waste, either. “As a health coach, I’ve wanted a Vitamix for years; it is all I talk about! It is such a powerful machine. There are so many recipes I am dying to try,” she says. And although she loves indoor cycling classes, the closest studio is a 35-minute drive for Huntsman, so she’s excited to cut out the commute. “The Peloton bike technology is one of a kind, and I feel so fortunate to own one,” she gushes.

So even if you didn’t land these healthy prizes, you can still make 2014 your Healthiest Year Ever with these tips from 12 amazing celebrity health and wellness experts. —Jamie McKillop
