Miss Lily’s debuts a new healthy menu

Miss Lily's
Melvin’s Juice Box at Miss Lily’s

Greenwich Village cafe and restaurant Miss Lily’s, home to Melvin’s Juice Box, has always embraced its culinary disconnect—Jamaican curries in the front, green juices in the back. (And an internet radio station-Reggae record store in between.)

Now, the cool and colorful Houston Street spot is leaning into the popularity of its veggie drinks (like Green Light and Sweet & Dandy) with the debut of a Body Good menu that features organic, healthy food options.

Think quinoa seaweed salad, brown rice with roasted garlic tofu, and a kale salad with Swiss chard, apple, and walnuts.

And don’t worry, Miss Lily’s is not totally abandoning its Jamaican roots. All of the Body Good dishes can be ordered with Grilled Jerk Tofu for a protein boost.
