Attention leggy Los Angeles blondes with runway ambitions: It’s your turn to get ModelFit.

The fitness studio frequented by what seems like every New York City model—from Miranda Kerr to Karlie Kloss—is bringing its workouts to the sunny city for a week of pop-up classes.

Four classes per day, all with co-founder Justin Gelband (who built his following training Victoria’s Secret Angels), will take place from February 2–9.

“We are beyond grateful and humbled by the success we’ve experienced so far with our first studio in New York and we knew it was only a matter of time before we found a way to bring our method to Los Angeles,” says Gelband’s co-founder Vanessa Packer. “There’s an inherent client base within our own community that’s been pushing for us to do something on the West Coast.”

Packer also says that they were set on offering ModelFit classes in a space with a similar vibe and aesthetic to their own Bowery studio (formerly occupied by fashion photographer Terry Richardson), something they finally found at Catchlight Studios on North La Brea. (Models shan’t be pulsing in squalor, duh.)

A tip for Angelenos signing up to try their hand—and glutes—at toning with Gelband? Bring a cute outfit for after class so you can channel Taylor with your (barely mussed) exit. —Lisa Elaine Held
