My Favorite Green Juice Recipe: Ashley Turner

yoga instructor Ashley Turner green smoothie recipeYogi-psychotherapist Ashley Turner knows that healthy eating feeds both the body and mind.

“Not eating well-balanced meals can make you feel terrible,” she said when we peaked in her fridge last January. “Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.”

Unsurprisingly, the Californian, who’s leading an Urban Priestess retreat at Kripalu this weekend, consumes greens, greens, and more greens.

And when Turner can’t finish her surplus of kale, spinach, and collards before they go bad, she loves to whip them up into this green smoothie. —Jamie McKillop
