This Saturday, yogis will roll out their mats in staggered time zones across four continents, flowing from chatarunga into upward dog at the same time.

The event, Lululemon’s Salutation Nation, expects to draw 100,000 participants to its annual global hour of yoga. (Salutation Planet?)

“We’re just excited to step out from behind our computers and be out here in the world, sharing this with the world,” said Carolyn Coles, Lulu’s Digital Innovation Manager, in a video promo for the event.

In New York City, yogis will meet at Norman’s Landscape inside Central Park, where the free class will kick off at 9:00 a.m. More than 400 people have signed up on facebook so far.

Lulu’s staying surprisingly mum on which of their local ambassadors will be teaching. But for an event of this size, we’re expecting a yoga dream team.

Salutation Nation, Saturday, September 10th, 9:00—10:00 a.m., Norman’s Landing, Inside Central Park at the 86th Street and Central Park West entrance. RSVP on facebook, and let Lulu know Well+Good sent you. For more info, visit www.salutationnation.com.
