SoulCycle announces a giant expansion in New York, and across the country

SoulCycle celebrity spin studio opens new locations

SoulCycle announced yesterday that it will open nine new spinning studios across the country in the coming months.

In New York, Soul East 63rd Street will open in December, with locations in Noho, Soho, the West Village, and Williamsburg (we’re officially revoking this neighborhood’s indie cred) to follow.

Additional studios will open in Santa Monica, San Francisco, and Marin County in California, and (predictably) Greenwich, Connecticut.

“As we spread the Soul, we are dedicated to making sure each new studio will be just as special as our very first SC on the Upper West Side,” the brand told devotees in an email.

The announcement comes in the same week that Flywheel opens its new Upper West Side studio and newcomer Revolve is set to hold its first class in Union Square.

At this rate, you won’t be able to burn 35 calories getting from your place to the nearest spin studio.
