Equinox sets its sights on Soul Cycle

Equinox is in talks to buy Soul Cycle. What could this merger mean for New York City's Spin-acenti?
Soul Bands might be coming to your local Equinox

The New York Post reports that Equinox “is negotiating to shell out between $15 million and $25 million for [Soul Cycle], with plans to rebrand its own in-house spinning studios under the SoulCycle name.”

10. The prospect of membership actually having privileges like real package discounts or, better yet, spinning classes included in membership dues.

9. A little more breathing room between the bikes.

Leave your reasons to rejoice in the comments section below and we’ll add them to the post.
