Take part in an inner revolution with Sharon Salzberg in November

Sharon Salzberg, one of the country's foremost Buddhist teachers, wants to wake us up from our frenetic treadmill-like ways, and lead us on an inner revolution of awareness.

Salzberg inner revolution eventMost of us zip around the island of Manhattan in a state of frenzy marked by Blackberry emails, iPod playlists, have-tos, and hurried phone calls.

But master mindfulness teacher Sharon Salzberg, a superstar among Buddhists, wants to wake us up from our treadmill-like way of moving through the world and lead us on an inner revolution of awareness.

At an up-coming evening talk and daylong retreat—offered in conjunction with author Mark Epstein, M.D., author of several books on psychotherapy and Buddhism, and Tibet House-founder and Buddhist scholar and Robert Thurman—Salzberg will teach the fundamentals of using meditation and mindfulness as vehicles for self-transformation.

We suggest you take a break from texting and open those palms towards the sky.
