Tara Stiles yoga poses and yoga DVD setToday, yogi celeb Tara Stiles launches her newest product, a four-disc set of DVDs called “This is Yoga”.

The set is being billed as “the complete yoga encyclopedia.”

Because while it does feature a few of her typical strengthening flow classes, wild-card ones like Yoga in Bed, and beginners sequences, it also includes a pose library with Stiles demo-ing the whole yoga repertoire of poses over 90 minutes. We can’t think of anyone who’s done this in DVD form.

We tried the Energizing Strong Flow class and loved her usual easy-going approach paired with helpful strengthening moves built into the sequences, like push-ups before each chaturanga.

We also give the Strala founder and Yoga Cures author a big thumbs up on the backdrop. Instead of a cheesy mountain landscape, she leads you into downward dog in spots like a downtown LA warehouse rooftop and The Standard Hotel balcony.

And at $20, it’s a serious bargain for DVD-loving yogis and newbies alike.
