Oprah is set to launch three lines of organic products under the names “Oprah’s Organics,” “Oprah’s Harvest,” and “Oprah’s Farm.” We don’t know what the products will be yet. But according to Living Maxwell, the patent trademarks that Winfrey filed cover a variety of food and beauty lines. Whatever they are, everyone will buy them.
The Queen of TV also featured the “New Generation of Spiritual Thinkers” on her Super Soul Sunday show this week—Gabrielle Bernstein, Mastin Kipp, and Marie Forleo.
New York’s spin scene was blowing up this week. Flywheel opened the doors to its new Upper West Side studio, SoulCycle announced nine new locations nationwide (five of which are in New York), and Revolve revealed a roster of top instructors, although the brand-new studio’s open date is still TBD.
Grapeseed-infused French beauty brand Caudalie announced it will open its first stand-alone boutique on Bleecker Street in early December. Three of the four walls will be dedicated to “storytelling” the brand’s history and beauty innovations, and just one to products.
Yoga-music phenomenon Wanderlust revealed the dates for its summer 2013 festivals in Vermont, Colorado, California, and Whistler. After, of course, the brand finishes its first-time trips to Hawaii and Chile.
The Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater New York celebrated its 25th anniversary on Wednesday, and Martha Stewart was among the honorees at the event, for her role as a “Iyengar yoga supporter and advocate.”
