This Week in Wellness: Barre3 for New Yorkers, blowouts are booming, and more

If only your living room looked like this...

Welcome to our weekly roundup of wellness news we’ve spotted and reported throughout the week. Our Page Six!

Sadie Lincoln at home. Portland-based Barre3 launched an online portal called Mybarre3 this Tuesday, officially bringing the famous workout to the masses. Don’t worry; you won’t need to install a bedside barre.

Bare to hair. Real Housewife of NYC Cindy Barshop launched a new service at her Completely Bare spas—post-wax fur and feather merkins. Seriously.

No shirts, no yoga. Speaking of bare, celeb-fave yoga studio Jivamukti posted a new rule warning yogis to dress modestly for time on the mat. Maybe they’re afraid to see feathers poking out of your yoga pants? (See above.)

Booming blowouts. Remember when we told you that Drybar was about to take over New York? The blowout-only salon opened its second location this Thursday, inside Le Parker Meridien hotel.

Tap class. A new-agey spiritual technique entered the spotlight this week, when Tara Stiles’ Strala Yoga hosted a screening of The Tapping Solution, a film about the powers of Tapping, or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

Added value. Healthier fast food purveyor Energy Kitchen launched a better-for-you burger value meal, in keeping with its clever “Fast food doesn’t have to be fat food” motto.
