Blowouts are blowing up. According to Racked.com, rapidly expanding Drybar is set to open two new locations in November–in Murray Hill and on the Upper East Side.

The Environmental Working Group released an updated Dirty Dozen list for 2012 produce, with a few additions, like cucumbers, so you can make up-to-date organic produce choices.

New York’s big-time Forrest yogi, Erica Mather, debuted a collection of videos. Among the practical how-tos for students (how to do handstands, how to get into crow) are pretty brilliant ones for teachers, as in How to get a paid gig.

Over shooting their goal by 5,000 yogis, 14,000 gathered in Times Square for the Athleta Summer Solstice: Mind Over Madness Yoga on Wednesday, despite 95-degree temperatures. Check out our photos from the event here.
