The world’s oldest yoga teacher dances on America’s Got Talent

America's Got Talent

Sure, your three-month (or three-year-long) yoga habit is impressive. But that awesome streak doesn’t hold a candle to Tao Porchon-Lynch.

The 96-year-old holds the Guinness World Record as being the world’s oldest yoga instructor—and that’s not even the reason why she has us impressed.

Just last week, Porchon-Lynch took a break from teaching in White Plains, NY, to compete on America’s Got Talent. With Pitbull’s “Fireball” blaring, and an amazing set of heels to boot, Porchon-Lynch and dance partner Vard Margarya wowed the crowd and all four judges with her ballroom number.

“Dancing is a pure pleasure,” says Porchon-Lynch during the show. “There’s so much to do and so little time to do it.” Yet another good reason to keep hitting the yoga mat or the dance floor.
