The opening weekend of free yoga at YogaMaya just ended, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check out this groovy new studio. The collaboration of popular downtown yogis Bryn Chrisman and Stacey Brass (pictured), plus financier-turned-yoga-teacher Glenn Riis, vinyasa-based YogaMaya has an inspiring schedule that includes classes with Raghunath (author of the forthcoming book, The Raw Yogi) as well as one Men’s Class per week. There’s also Kirtan galore, a focus on devotion (Bhakti), and what sounds like a chill upcoming retreat to Southern Vermont.
