For your fall toolkit: Create space for yourself and slow down.

Tara Stiles, founder of Strala Yoga, explains

I’ve learned that slowing down is essential, especially when I am so busy and bouncing around everywhere. I can get more done clearly with less effort when I physically slow down. Slowing my speech, my thoughts, and even my walk. It’s an amazing suspension of space and time. Slowing down dissolves tension in a graceful and powerful way.

Maybe even do nothing. Go for a slow walk during lunch without your phone. Lie down on the grass for ten minutes. Walk slower. Speak slower. Allow your brain to relax and be easy. You’ll probably find yourself getting more done in less time, experiencing awesome space and time bending. This stuff really works and is fun! —Jamie McKillop
