But one category screams summer just a little bit louder than the rest: popsicles.

“There’s something about a popsicle that brings you back to your childhood days, running around and playing all day and getting rewarded with a delicious—and often messy—popsicle,” says Daphne Cheng, executive chef at New York City’s LadyBird and Mother of Pearl.

Summer Berry Chia Pops

Ingredients
2 cups strawberries, hulled
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup coconut milk
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup chia seeds
Agave (optional)

1. Blend all ingredients until well-blended but still slightly chunky for texture. Taste and add agave to sweeten, if necessary.

2. Slowly mix in chia seeds, whisking while pouring to avoid clumps.

3. Pour into popsicle molds. Freeze at least 2 hours or until solid.
