Classically trained wellness chef, best-selling cookbook author, and Well+Good Council member Candice Kumai is here to tell you that you can.
For the next five weeks, the plant-based eating queen will share her favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes so you have something healthy and delish for every single meal until February. This isn’t “diet food” or a plan focused on a quick fix. Instead, each week will fall under a specific theme meant to be carried out long term.
The theme for week one: gut health. Chances are, you already know the microbiome affects everything from your mental health to your immune system, so creating a balance is important. All week, Kumai will be sharing recipes made to help heal the gut and really nourish it. Some power ingredients she’ll be using: miso, ginger, and apple cider vinegar.
