When it comes to relaxation, cucumber slices are like the perfect matcha latte before work—classic and essential. But sometimes you want it with a boozy hit, am I right? That’s where this coconut cucumber cocktail comes in.
Crafted by Pamela Wiznitzer, one of America’s Top Female Mixologists, every sip will give you spa-day feels. While most nights out drinking end in dehydration, manifesting itself in a morning-after hangover, this drink may help out with that. “Coconut cucumber is so crazy refreshing and, bonus, hydrating,” says Well+Good video producer Ella Dove, who was tasked with bringing this recipe to life on camera.
Putting it all together takes no time and is super easy, especially if precision isn’t your thing. “For prep, don’t worry about over muddling or shaking you can just mix all in the glass and you’re set!” says Dove. Check out the video below to see how it’s done and scroll down for the recipe.
Combine gin, honey, coconut water, and chopped cucumber into a cocktail shaker. Shake well.
Pour the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
Fill the remainder of the glass with soda water. Garnish with cucumber and coconut slices.
