It’s easy to get in the habit of brewing the same ole cup of coffee every morning to fuel yourself through the day, but you don’t need all that caffeine for energy. You can actually wake yourself up with a caffeine-less body-boosting latte, thanks to a powerful secret ingredient.

Ksenia Avdulova—the açai-loving healthy blogger behind Breakfast Criminals—recently posted her go-to morning wellness beverage on Instagram, and it’s jam-packed with a trendy super-green: moringa. Despite being caffeine-free, the simple drink unleashes loads of long-lasting energy.

Nutritionist and Well+Good Council member Kimberly Snyder wrote on her website that moringa tea can help support health without crash. “A single serving of moringa contains about three times the iron of spinach, [which] is essential to enriching the blood, carrying life, energy, and oxygen into our muscles, organs, and tissues.”

So to get the most out of the impressive ingredient, Avdulova created an easy-to-follow recipe .

“The moringa latte has been my go-to when I don’t want caffeine. I use 1/2 cup hot water, 1 cup steamed mylk—this time hemp, [which is] simply 1/2 cup hemp seeds blended with 4 cups water—1 tsp moringa, 1 serving Vital Proteins vanilla creamer, 2 drops of peppermint essential oil, and cinnamon.” —Ksenia Avdulova of  Breakfast Criminals
