Veggie burger connoisseurs, rejoice.
According to Grub Street, award-winning chef Brooks Headley’s Superiority Burger—a pop-up veggie-burger concept that’s been getting rave reviews since it first debuted—finally has a permanent home inside the former Dirt Candy space in the East Village.
Along with the famous quinoa-based meatless burgers, the small menu includes a tofu “Hippy Wrap,” burnt-broccoli salad, and housemade gelato and sorbet.
The restaurant is mainly designed for takeout (with just a few seats for eating in), which is probably a smart move considering the crowds that are likely to form once word gets out. —Emily Karr
