Traveling is a great excuse to try as many new things as possible—but cramming new adventures, foods, and cultural experiences into your days can leave you without much by way of a wellness routine, especially if you're often on the go.

Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, or you just live an always-active lifestyle, that lack of routine can hit your nutritional health particularly hard, which is what frequent-flying life coach and wellness podcast founder Shanna Tyler was looking to improve when she enlisted the help of a dietitian.

"I usually travel a lot for work—sometimes I’m in two different states a week—so I need some help with solutions for [maintaining my health and wellness routine] when I’m on the road," Tyler tells Amy Shapiro, MS, RD, CDN, and founder of Real Nutrition, when the two met to discuss Tyler's wellness goals in partnership with Nature's Way®.

Number one on Shapiro's list of tips for healthy globetrotters? Bolstering their supplement routine. On that front, she recommends Tyler (and anyone with a similar lifestyle) take supplements with ingredients like elderberry extract, vitamin C, and zinc, all of which are found in Nature’s Way Sambucus Gummies. (Bonus: They taste delicious and are super convenient to toss in your carry-on.)

Shapiro also gave suggestions for how to make sure your go-to travel breakfast is filling enough to sustain you throughout jam-packed days, and how to support your exercise routine while in transit—but you'll have to watch the full video to snag those tips.
