Turns out, we’re gaga for ginger. Among our tasters, it was unanimous that the strong ginger flavor left everyone feeling energized. “It’s refreshing and effervescent, with a little spice that feels as good for you as it actually is,” one staffer remarked.
Another solid point in its favor? It’s the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. “It tastes like a treat, but without the sugar bomb of many alternatives, and the ginger helps me feel alert,” noted one editor.

Refreshing was the main adjective staffers used to describe this subtly sweet flavor, which scored high points because of its inventiveness. “I haven’t seen this kombucha flavor before,” was a common refrain—and while everyone agreed they’d gladly sip it any time, it also scored high marks as a post-dinner option for its healthy-dessert-in-a-bottle effect.
KeVita Lemon Cayenne Sparkling Probiotic Drink
Move aside, coffee—because this might be our new favorite a.m. pick-me-up. “I would drink this first thing in the morning,” one editor noted. “The lemon and cayenne combo is energizing and really woke me up.” Everyone was especially excited about the spicy kick from the cayenne, which is a common addition in many detox beverages. “There’s something about that heat that makes it feel healthy,” another editor said. Of all the flavors sampled, the W+G team found this combo to be one of the more intriguing options. “I like the subtle fruity flavor with an added savory note, thanks to the basil—it’s a smooth mix of both ingredients,” one editor pointed out. Another chimed in: “It also works as a great pick-me-up in the afternoon. And certainly after a workout!”

This summer-tinged flavor has #vacayvibes written all over it. “I’m so sad summer is over, because I could totally see myself sipping this by the pool,” one team member lamented.
But it was still considered an ideal thirst-quencher to sip year-round, thanks to the refreshing mint profile. “Because the Sparkling Probiotic Drink feels lighter and more effervescent, I’d definitely bring this to the gym as a reward after a challenging HIIT class,” another added.
KeVita Strawberry Acai Coconut Sparkling Probiotic Drink
Rounding out our top picks, this lightly sweet combo also nods ever so slightly to warmer days. “I love the mix of coconut and strawberry flavors,” an editor said. “And it feels better-for-you, thanks to the fermented water kefir and live probiotics.”
Another editor was impressed with the low number of calories in each bottle. “In the afternoons, when I’m craving something sweet, I can see myself going for this fruity drink instead.” Snack fix: Found.
