It's now easier than ever to give your home a decluttered, healthy makeover, thanks to Ikea. The retailer just unveiled a new app that lets you virtually place its products in your home to see how things look before you spend those hard-earned dollars.

The experience might make you feel nostalgic for furnishing houses on the Sims computer game—but get excited, folks, because this is real life.

So, how does this interactive new feature for iOS devices work? Using 3-D and true-to-scale models of the furniture—from dining room tables and armchairs to sofas—Ikea Place gives you a super-realistic sneak peek of how the item will look like in your space. Thanks to the technology, you'll never run into the problem of ordering a bigger-than-expected coffee table ever again: The app adjusts the furniture to accurately fit your space.

To use all the app, simply  scan the floor with your iPhone or iPad, select a product you want to place, then point your Apple device at an open space in your room. After dragging and dropping the product into position, you can view it from different angles to see if you like how it looks.

Now who's ready for a redesign?

Here's everything you need to know about Chip and Joanna Gaines' Target collab. And while you're at it, you might as well scope out the store's new Oh Joy! collection, too.
