Many New Yorkers (those who have great work benefits) maximize summer Fridays by making the pilgrimage from the concrete jungle to the beachy oasis of the Hamptons. Given the popular summer migration, many buzzy workout studios have set up seasonal (or permanent!) shop to meet the shift in geographic demand. The latest example? Fitness phenom Taryn Toomey‘s cult-favorite studio, The Class by Taryn Toomey, which has locations in New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver, is coming to the Hamptons from Memorial Day until the end of September.

The Class is known for being therapeutic and transformative—with its unique pairing of yoga philosophy and boot-camp intensity—so it’s only fitting that the new Bridgehampton barn space mirrors that ethos aesthetically. But, regardless of whether your summer-vacay plans include the Hamptons, where the Well+Good Council member says she’ll be teaching classes during the season, you can re-create the soothing vibes in your own home sanctuary with a few simple decor upgrades. (But if you do make it to the location, you’ll be treated to shoppable goodies from Joanna Vargas, May Lindstrom Skin, MZ Wallace, and a yet-to-be-announced sleepwear brand.)

Toomey says she was extremely involved in designing the Tribeca flagship location of the Class, but this Hamptons studio is the first outpost conceptualized and created entirely in-house.

To achieve the dreamy Hamptons studio vibes, which Toomey describes as, “the warmth of the summer, a feeling meant to be serene, relaxed, and light,” incorporate “soft fabrics, cozy nooks, candles, and music, and voilà: home sweet home.” She also mentions that scent is essential for setting the right mood. (Her go-to is the super simple and grounding palo santo.)

But that’s just the start; check out the essential home-decor pieces to give your Zen den Class-y vibes.

Furnish your home with these Taryn Toomey–approved pieces for the ultimate Zen summer vibes.

Amp up the dreamy vibes by transforming your bar cart into a wellness cart and by stocking your kitchen up on affordable Le Creuset items.
