A trend you should run with: Sneakers are everywhere

From Dior kicks and color-block flatforms to crisp white tennis shoes—designers and the fashion world front row are smitten with sneaks.
Sneakers_trend_fitness fashion There’s no denying it: Sneakers are everywhere.

And we’re not talking about the performance-boosting, arch-supporting Brooks you wear on your five-mile runs. Dior and Valentino sneaks, color-block flatforms, and crisp white tennis shoes were (and are) all over Spring 2015 Fashion Week catwalks and sidewalks—and therefore all over fashion blogs like The Sartorialist and runway-recaps on Style.com.

Designers are embracing the sneaker trend—by sending kicks down the runway and using them as inspiration in their shows—and is the front row. Attendees have been wearing sneakers with their designer labels in place of stilettos (easier to run away from the paparazzi?).

Read on to see 10 street style and designer sneaker looks, captured by top fashion photogs and bloggers. And tell us, are you running with the sneakers-outside-the-gym trend? Let us know, in the Comments, below! —Molly Gallagher
