More often than not, celebrities are known for having impossibly perfect skin. When your face is photographed and available for people around the world to scrutinize in close-up mode, you pretty much have to make sure your skin is in impeccable condition.

Then again, celebrities are human, which means they inevitably deal with bouts of acne—just like the rest of us. And, as famous people are getting more honest about things like mental health and struggles with alcohol, they're opening up about their skin-care struggles, too.

While you might not have to stress about walking the red carpet on the reg, you undoubtedly know how annoying a huge pimple (or several of them) can be. Here's how these celebrities handle their breakouts.

Scroll down to see what these 4 famous faces use to keep their skin clear.

1. Kendall Jenner

To deal with blemishes, the model heads to her pantry instead of her medicine cabinet. There, she makes a DIY acne spot treatment, which she shared on her website. Jenner takes 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of honey to make a paste. "The baking soda and lemon juice act to dry out the pimple, while honey works to soothe irritation," she said.

2. Olivia Wilde

Leave it to the Drinking Buddies actress to have the cutest-sounding cleansing routine. She uses True Botanicals Hydrating Cleanser to wash her face while her young son watches (awww!). Then, because she deals with hormonal acne around her chin and cheek, she uses two different face oils on different parts of her face. For the pimple-prone area, Wilde swears by True Botanicals Clear Oil.

3. Chloë Grace Moretz

In an interview with Allure, the actress revealed she went through the "long, hard, emotional process" of dealing with cystic acne while she was growing up. In conjunction with prescribed medication, Moretz also washes her face with olive oil, which can be useful as a cleansing oil depending on your skin type (Shania Twain uses it, too!). "I swear my skin is so much clearer because of it," she said.

4. Zoe Saldana

The Guardians of the Galaxy star admits her skin "isn't always perfect." But she's okay with it. Saldana told Byrdie that if her skin is having an off-day, she'll skip the skin care and pull an unexpected product from her makeup bag. "If I'm having a bad day or if I feel like my skin isn't looking its best," she said, "a red lip is my go-to. It makes me feel beautiful and bold and in control of myself."
